I’ve always thought the idea of having a vegetable garden would be a lot of fun. Walking out to your garden and picking a fresh tomato for tonight’s dinner appeals to the self-sufficient nature of most frugal individuals. However, I know just enough about gardening to know that I am not very good at it, and that it is a lot of work. My kids have always been fascinated with the idea of growing things, but our soil and our dog make planting anything in the yard impossible. I recently stumbled upon an interesting gardening method called square foot gardening and decided we would give it a try.

Ready for March Madness!!!

I filled out my bracket yesterday. Looking at it you'd think I don't know very much because I have all the #1 seeds making it to the final four. I just don't see many upsets happening this year; I only picked three of them. Anyway I have UCLA beating UNC in the championship game.

What does your bracket look like? What are your predictions and upsets?

Trying out a new venture...

So I am back to blogger. Why? Well to be honest, it's a lot easier to use than the others I have tried, and since I left, it has gotten a lot better. I also just signed up for Google AdSense and am going to give it a whirl.

I'll still be posting the randomness I find on the web, the stories I digg, and other nonsense. So look forward for more things to come!
